PBS's POV will feature three films about adoption — Wo Ai Ni (I Love You) Mommy by Stephanie Wang-Breal (airing Aug 31); Off and Running by Nicole Opper (airing Sep 7); and In the Matter of Cha Jung Hee by Deann Borshay Liem (airing Sep 14). The three films will serve to launch a national public awareness campaign to examine issues facing adopted persons and families who choose to adopt.

BATON ROUGE, LA (wrkf) - As people in the United States look for ways to help people in Haiti after the devastating earthquake on January 12th, there has been a surge in interest in adopting Haitian children. Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Baton Rouge is urging people to delay adopting Haitian children for the time being, and focus instead on relief efforts. Paula Davis is a licensed clinical social worker who handles international adoptions with Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Baton Rouge.
