Car crashes are a leading cause of death for children 1 to 13 years old. Many times deaths and injuries can be prevented by proper use of car seats, boosters, and seat belts. Louisiana State Police and the Louisiana Passenger Safety Task Force will be conducting FREE Child Safety Seat Check events across Louisiana this Saturday, September 20, 2014 in order to reduce the number of children injured and killed in motor vehicle crashes.
PLEASE NOTE: Troop A provides FREE car seat safety checks every Tuesday from 9am-3pm. Troop A is located in East Baton Rouge Parish at the intersection of Highland Road and Interstate 10.
